My Little Homeland/Marco Damilano

Titled "My Small Homeland. Storia corale di un paese che esiste" (Rizzoli), the latest book by Marco Damilano, guest of Officine Cantelmo for a presentation curated by Coolclub in collaboration with Liberrima bookstore. The meeting, which is part of the journalist's mintour, is sponsored by Diffondere idee di valore and Conversazioni sul futuro. The author, a columnist for the daily newspaper "Tomorrow," author and host of the news strip "The Horse and the Tower" on Rai Tre, talks with Mayor Carlo Salvemini about eighty years of Italian history, from 1943 to the present, from the Resistance to new challenges. Reviewing the events, places, myths, leaders, beginnings and goodbyes that built for the first time a common identity without foreign armies or dictatorships. The country that exists, portrayed in the crucial passages of the Republic, the collective achievements, the falls, the dark passages, the tragedies, the rebirths.
