Memories of a Water Laundry

From its porthole, one can observe the changing city and the people, of different nationalities, who do not just do their laundry here, but meet, tell stories, and meet again. All the stories that have passed through the legendary Jefferson laundry together with those of a neighbourhood that, in the change, has perhaps lost something, are enclosed in "Memorie di una lavanderia ad acqua", a book by Filippo Maria Cariglia, published by Musicaos, which the author presents in the spaces of the Officine Culturali Ergot together with Fanny Bortone, author of the foreword to the volume, and the publisher Luciano Pagano. During the evening, the documentary of the same name, also by Filippo Maria Cariglia, will also be screened.
