L’estate brucia ancora

Carlotta is a 13 years-old girl, and leads a quiet life, in a family like many others, in a house overlooking the bitter fields of Salento. Emma, on the other hand, is a little older, and is quite the opposite. Daughter of musicians, she is half Irish and lives in a psychedelic villa where the rules stop at the entrance gates. However, the two forge a very strong friendship, marked by differences that cast shadows on their story, which is suddenly turned upside down at the end of the summer: violence, removed memory and a dark bond teem in "L'estate brucia ancora” (Guanda), written by Salentine author Chiara Fina. The pages plunge into a Salento that forms the backdrop to a moving human story, presented in the warmth of the OgniBene library, where the author is in dialogue with Patrizia Cretì.
