History is made of stories, small, sometimes terrible, sometimes beautiful. The stories of men and women who in their daily lives have suffered and sometimes sublimated poverty, war and exploitation. "In a Life. A history of the short century' by Vincenzo Dimilta (ed. TransumantidiAccettura) is one of these and tells of the protagonist, Giuliano, struggling for personal and collective redemption. The war, barbarity, concentration camps, toil in the lands of Lucania, then the descent to the underworld in the Belgian coal mines and the return, struggles, lands and occupations unfold between the pages of the book, touching not only on the social struggles of the oppressed but also the dimension of the highest and strongest good of everything and everyone.
The book is presented in the spaces of the Augustinian complex in the presence of the author who dialogues with Cosimino Rolli of Fattizze d'Arneo and Franco Tommasi.
