Gradi di separazione/ Teresa Musca

The title recalls the sociological theory that it takes 'six degrees of separation' to connect strangers. But Teresa Musca's 'Degrees of Separation' are not superficial ties, but rather a journey through the scars of the soul of all the women in the world, united by a single thread that holds their existences together. In "Degrees of Separation" (Gradi di separazione), Collettiva ed., detachment is understood as a loss, an irreparable tear that takes one's breath away, an experience similar to death, but deprived of its inexorability: at the point of rupture, in fact, a new beginning is grafted on, a rebirth that is "laborious, difficult, vibrant, possible". The author is a guest of the "Agostiniani Libri" review, in the spaces of the OgniBene library.
