Femminucce/ Federippi

"Don't be a sissy!" It is a stale phrase, now widely used in common parlance, associated with the belief that fragility is a feminine trait. It can also be paraphrased from "don't be weak", through "be brave!" to "be a man!". At the Masseria Tagliatelle in Lecce, Federippi (Federica Fabrizio) presents her book 'Femminucce', in which she meets women who have lived in different eras, all confined to roles that are too narrow, but who share the need to express themselves. These include Berta Cácere, Luisa Spagnoli, Rosalind Franklin and Raffaella Carrà.
