Two are the appointments scheduled in the evening at the Bernardini Library. At 7 pm, the centenary of the birth of PCI (Italian Communist Party) is celebrated with the presentation of the book "Il PCI, l'Italia e il Salento. Democrazia, diritti e lavoro nel secolo breve”, edited by Mario Spedicato and Salvatore Coppola (Giorgiani). PCI was a key player and irreplaceable point of reference in this process of emancipation, linking its story to the general history of the country and, in particular, to southern Italy. At 8 pm, instead, the anthological volume "Le poete della beat. Canti d’amore contro la guerra", published by Collettiva, dedicated to the often forgotten women of the Beat Generation.
