EXTRACONVITTO/L’Idomeneo

Idomeneo was the mythical king of Crete who, after the Trojan War, took refuge in southern Apulia and founded the city of Lecce. This legendary historical figure is the name of the magazine founded in 1998 as the organ of the Lecce section of the Società di Storia Patria per la Puglia, which boasts contributions from numerous university professors and originality of content and form. For the ExtraConvitto review, issue 31 of the magazine will be presented, edited by Professor Mario Spedicato, dedicated to "Dante studies in Terra d'Otranto from the Unification to today".
