Extra Convitto / I lived in the house of silence

For the third edition of Extra Convitto, an exhibition born in full pandemic with the intent of exploiting the open spaces of the former Palmieri Convitto and giving a chance to express the creative needs of the cultural actors of the territory, the publisher Claudio Martino introduces the meeting with professor Marcella Rizzo who presents the poetic collection "I inhabited the house of silence" (Hesperides). A work of the poetess and writer Maria Francesca Giordano who opens the doors of her "home", exposing her soul, all immersed in the sounds of silence. The one that frightens when faced with questions about the meaning of life, and the one that consoles, that shelters from restlessness. And in the slow passage of time, the wait is transformed into words, and then into verses, and finally into poetry. Writing becomes rebirth.
