This is the teaching contained in the book "Jack & Chick" (Dantebus Edizioni), written by Cosimo Resta and illustrated by Marco Vigna. In the form of a fairy tale, the author tells his story, that of a child suffering from a tumor pathology, with delicacy and depth. One bad day the protagonist Jack begins to see double and from that moment his normal life as a child will never be the same. In his head hides the egg of a chick (metaphor of the tumor mass), which at the end of the story will hatch as if by magic in the character of Chick, not without painful vicissitudes and the thread of suffering, which normally accompanies the path of the sick. oncological.
