Diaries of Eastern Art - Bari 1960-1980

1960-1980, two decades of contemporary art in the metropolitan area of ​​Bari. Pietro Marino, guest of the meeting-presentation in the auditorium of the Castromediano Museum, tells them in the book "Diari dell'Arte Levante - Bari 1960-1980" (Gangemi) . Those were years of growth and dreams of development but also of identity crisis and disillusionment: at the stroke of his 90 years, Pietro Marino recalls the atmosphere, the ferment, the energy, in a passionate and exciting story, as a witness, an activist , journalist, art critic and operator and teacher of the Bari Academy in the years of its foundation.

Giancarlo Chielli, director of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bari, will participate in the meeting with the author Luigi De Luca, director of the biblio-museum complex in Lecce; Fernando De Filippi, artist; Marina Pizzarelli, art historian, former professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Lecce; Lorenzo Madaro, professor of Art History, Academy of Fine Arts of Lecce and consultant of the Castromediano Museum of Lecce.
