Confidences/Luisa Ruggio

"Confidences" are those of Luisa Ruggio, in her fifth novel, in bookstores starting Feb. 3 for Besa Muci types. It promises to be a "hymn to life and the stories that make innocents, virgins and free spirits." The book tells the story of 16-year-old Violante, whose parents mysteriously disappear. The girl begins a long investigation, in which clues overlap with memories. Alone in the world, she takes refuge in Matrico, an estate with a special charm, where she discovers eroticism and other wonderful perditions. The Salento-based author presents her latest work, dialoguing with writer Elisabetta Liguori in the spaces of Koreja Theater, in the form of a diffuse installation and participatory workshop. A real party, from the dress code inspired by the novel "The Great Gatsby" by Francis Scott Fitzgerald. The audience is welcomed by Valeria De Vitis, in the role of the croupier of a very special Casino. The evening also includes an unplugged grape harvest, soundtracked by singer-songwriter Claudia Giannotta Lamush Zeta, Riccardo Roma aka Dimaggio and musician Andreina Capone. Also taking part are actors Chiara De Pascalis, Federica Rizzo and Alfredo Rampino, as well as young readers from the WinstonSmithClub collective.
