Christmas in the Library OgniBene/ Valerio Manisi

In the spaces of OgniBene, the community library, comes Valerio Manisi to present his first novel 'Until I can see the light', published by CTJS. It is the story of Ayo, who proceeds barefoot towards the van, with destination Libya. He has a university degree and Italy, his final destination, represents his redemption and that of his people, who have always been exploited and oppressed. Ayo does not want to and cannot die on the journey, as happened to his father. How many have the courage to look? How many have the courage not to look the other way? How many have the courage to identify with the existence of a slave? Ayo knows all the answers. She wears them engraved on her skin. Valerio Manisi, already the author of several theatrical, poetic, musical and cinematographic works, talks about this raw and uncomfortable story with Maria Cucurachi of Arci Lecce Solidarietà.
