Atlante di genere di Milano/ Azzurra Muzzonigro

Can cities be thought, imagined and lived according to needs, necessities, but also according to people's actual rights? More, by offering answers to women and gender minorities? "Milano Atlante di genere" (ed. LetteraVentidue), by Florencia Andreola and Azzurra Muzzonigro, is the volume that combines urban and gender studies, the result of the broader research "Sex & the City", commissioned by the Milano Urban Center. A magnifying glass, a guide, both theoretical and practical, for looking, living and thinking about the city in a more equitable, sustainable, politically correct and inclusive way. The volume is accompanied by several maps indicating, among other things, anti-violence centres, counselling centres, public and private nurseries, play areas, sex work, red benches, metro stations with lifts, according to a toponymy that embraces a true gender urbanism. The atlas is presented in the cloister of the Augustinians together with one of the authors, Azzurra Muzzonigro, welcomed by Lecce City Council councillors Rita Miglietta, urban planning policies, and Silvia Miglietta, welfare, equal opportunities and civil rights.
