Anna Fermi/ Maria Maddalena, il cammino della rosa

"To heal is to recognise who we are beyond the wound and to come to find within ourselves the union with the dreamed, desired love". This is Anna Fermi's mantra as she retraces the stages of the spiritual experience of “Maria Maddalena, il cammino della rosa”, the latest work presented in the Basilica of Santa Croce. After her graduation in philosophy, at the Cattolica University of Milan, she approached the spiritual dimension with the “contact” of her soul with angels. Since then, she has been bringing her experience linked to the doctrine of angelology throughout Italy, through her writing, but also through the documentary "Il Mistero della Spada" (The Mystery of the Sword), conceived to narrate the imaginary "Sword Line" that unites some of the sanctuaries linked to the Archangel Michael. From Mount Carmel in upper Galilee to the Skellig Islands in Ireland, via the island of Symi in Greece, Monte Sant'Angelo in Apulia, the Sacra di San Michele in Val di Susa, Mont Saint-Michel in France, St Michael's Mount in Cornwall. And St Baume in Provence, of course, where they say that Mary Magdalene spent the last years of her life “from the wound of betrayal to the gift of eternal love”.
