AGOSTINIANI LIBRI/Idume and other water stories

Ticket: free
The novel "Lascia stare la gallina" by Daniele Rielli is presented in a new edition, edited and revised by its author. The book, published in 2015, tells the story of a summer in Salento when, amidst crowded beaches and parties, a girl is murdered at a campsite in Frassanito and the ex-policeman Salvatore Petrachi, owner of a security firm and embroiled in many criminal activities, is assigned to unravel the case. A polyphonic novel in which the narration of power games in the Italian province, in crisis but still firmly in the hands of small groups, is a pretext to recount the inextricable relationship between life and evil. Daniele Rielli, a guest in the former Convento degli Agostiniani, presents the book and talks with Omar Di Monopoli and Marcella Rizzo.
